Worcester Raiders look to secure back-to-back victories on the road.
Tonight, Raiders travel down to Gloucestershire to take on Cinderford Town, making it our third consecutive away game in a row.
Manager Jordan Lewis ahead of Cinderford: “The focus is important, we know we've got six games left, and we've got to put everything into these six cup finals”.
“The focus short term is just to improve our performances. We started better Saturday, and we have to remain focused on just improving game by game and to the very last whistle of the season”.
Last two weeks we picked up four points on our travels, drawing 3-3 to Thornbury and then comfortably winning 2-0 at the weekend against Royal Wootton.
Saturday saw two stunning strikes from Bailey Fuller within the 25th and 30th minutes.
The first came from an outside-the-box hit that curled perfectly into the top left corner.
Just five minutes later, he was at it again, finding space on the edge of the box and squeezing a low shot through a crowd of players into the bottom-left corner.
Raiders comfortably saw out the game, having chances to extend their lead and defending solidly as a unit, with captain Jordan Murphy stepping in at centre back to lead the back line.
All eyes now shift to a crucial game in the promotion race, where a win for Raiders could see them move up to 2nd by the end of the night.
As for their hosts, their playoff dreams are still alive after a late goal against Westfields at the weekend.
Raiders will look to end these dreams as they hunt for the double over Cinderford Town tonight.
Jordan Stoddart picked up a knock Saturday, but fortunately, he's fully fit and ready to play a key figure in the Raiders' side.
Youngster George Hadley returns to the squad this evening and is expected to play a part at some stage as he continues his development.
