Raiders host Westfields as they look to make it six wins from six in January.

It's been the perfect start for Raiders in 2026, picking up all 12 points in the league, pushing us back into the playoffs.
As well as progressing to the quarter-finals of the Floodlit Cup after a 3-1 victory over Droitwich Spa.

Last week Raiders showed real fight and determination to overturn a 2-goal deficit, coming back from 2-0 down to win 4-2 against Longlevens.
Raiders started off slow, struggling to control the pace of the game and were 1-0 down after 9 minutes.
We began to control more of the ball, but Longlevens took their chance, splitting the Raiders defence open and allowing Longlevens number 10 to hit home on 30 minutes. Soon after, Charlie came to rescue to stop them from making it 3, diving across his goal line to push the ball around the post. This proved to be a vital moment in the game.

Just before the break Raiders got a crucial goal back after a great passage of play ended with Bailey Fuller whipping the ball into the box and it bundling over the line by the Longlevens defender.

It didn't take long for us to get the equaliser as on 52 minutes the ball found Captain Jordan Murphy who blasted the ball into the net, giving the keeper no chance. 2 minutes later, Raiders had the momentum and found themselves 3-2 up, an incredible opening 9 minutes to the second half. Prince Henry's tricky run and inch-perfect cross found Bailey, who headed it into the back of the net.

Longlevens pushed for the equaliser, hitting the bar and coming close on the follow-up, but yet again Charlie came in clutch to push the ball over the bar.

In added time Raiders sealed victory as they hit Longlevens on a fast counterattack. Adam Taylor came flying down the right wing, passing the last Longlevens defender to cut across and score in the bottom corner to top off a special comeback for Raiders.
Adam Taylor picked up the Man of the Match award after an impressive out of position display and a goal late on.

Raiders now look ahead to Westfields on Saturday, looking to complete the January set. After last week's victory Raiders now sit in 5th inside the playoff places, one point ahead of Cirencester Town with two games in hand over them.

A win would put Raiders in a very comfortable position on 52 points, putting pressure on other play off rivals around them.

For Westfields, it's been a very up and down season as they sit in 10th place with ten wins and 11 losses. The playoff picture is not totally over for them; however, a loss in this game would kill their final hopes of making a late playoff push.

Westfields did beat Raiders earlier in the season, 3-0 away from home, but Raiders will be looking for revenge after a perfect start to the new year at Home.
Unfortunately Raiders will be without 10 players tomorrow as our injury list has piled up.
