Saturday, the Raiders travel to Gloucestershire to take on Roman Glass ST George in a quest for three straight Hellenic League Victories. Worcester Raiders' great form continued Tuesday night, progressing to the 4th round of the Floodlit Cup after a 3-2 Victory over Woodford United.

Cameron Monteith got on the score sheet twice, a brilliant, hard-working performance that earned him MOTM. Francesco Cherchi additionally got in on the act with a tidy finish on the volley after an excellent solo run on the right wing from Bailey Fuller, who went past three defenders and picked out Fran.

It was also a special night for the new signing from the U18S, Travis Reid, who made some excellent saves on his debut. It's an exciting time for the U18S as three new fresh faces have been announced to the first team squad: Travis Reid, Goalkeeper, who made his debut Tuesday night, Tom Price, Midfielder and George Hadley, winger, who came off the bench. Raiders now look ahead to Roman Glass St George, who they have already beaten 3-2 this season in the UHL Challenge Cup at the DOADC Stadium.

Although the opposition sit top of the league on 39 points, Jordan Lewis and the squad will head into this match full of confidence after five consecutive wins in all competitions for the Raiders.

The gaffer is pleased with the squad and looks ahead to Saturday's game “Confidence is high with the team having won a few on the bounce and the squad has been used well in that period. Roman Glass we know is such a touch game and place to go. What happened three weeks ago means nothing, we have to reset after every game and start from scratch”.

A win for the Raiders would put them up to 35 points, closing in on Slimbridge and heat up the title race between the top five.
