It was a slow start to the game, neither side took any significant control to open the outing. It was Raiders who grabbed the first chance, Harry Stratford picked up the ball on right hand side of the 18 yard and looked to curl and effort which narrowly drifted wide of the post.
It took some back and forth action with captain, Jordan Murphy causing some trouble after some fantastic work down the right flank by Townley. Highworth did break the deadlock on the 30th minute mark, Wells putting the away side ahead.
It didn't take long after the second half began before Highworth found the net again, just a minute after the restart. Raiders did give the fans something to cheer after Daniele Reke bought Worcester within one after he pounced quickly in the box to notch a header home, just two minutes after joining the game as a sub.
15 minutes left of the game Raiders pushed high with Jordan Stoddart becoming a third striker and causing issues for theHighworth defence a couple chances for him. A header which forced a fantastic save the away keeper, and a volley from a corner cleared off the line.
Murphy followed suit another header cleared off the line Raiders by far the dominant side heading into the reaming ten of the 90', but they couldn't claw themselves a point.
