It was a quick start for Raiders who had a chance within just minutes of the referees whistle. Zaq hit the crossbar with a tremendous effort from a free-kick. Worcester kept this momentum when Reka had a chance to finish from close range, his effort just narrowly wide. Lydney were lucky not to be down down in the opening ten minutes.

The away side did find their feet though and the game balanced moving into the half hour mark before a foul on Zaq in the box was awarded as a penalty. He stepped up and dispatched cooly giving Raiders and the game their first goal.

It was another quick start to the second for Worcester this time Cottrill, who's recently returned from injury, netted. He reacted quickest to a scramble in the box to hit home.

This pressure continued and striker, Connor Deards, could have grabbed himself a couple of goals but it was some good work by the away keeper and a miss from close range which left him from extended the lead and putting the game to bed.

Late in the game Lydney were also awarded a penalty, which was converted, leading to some last minute panic for Raiders who were second best in the closing stages, but showed some real grit to hang on and secure three points.
