The home side had Neikell Plummer to thank for a close range finish 15 minutes from time which succumbed a battling Raiders to two defeats in two at the Southbank.
It would take just under a minute for the first chance for the away side, the full debutant Fuller hit a drive that was saved well by Kaupinnen in goal for the home side.
Only seven minutes on Fuller had another great chance to open the scoring, this time Kaupinnen was down well to his left to keep it 0-0.
After what was a good opening ten for the men in yellow, the rest of the half had limited opportunities – a free kick blazed over from Swann for the home side after half an hour being the next half chance.
The home side would have felt they should have been in the lead when with 5 to go before the break Swann once again hit a spectacular effort from distance just to be denied by the crossbar before it bouncing safely into the clutches of Young.
The second half wasn’t much more of an entertaining affair, with 60 minutes gone Shay Willock tempting fate with the dressing room after being cautioned being the highlight.
The first major chance was the goal for the home side on the 74th minute where, after great play by Demkiv down the left, before setting up Plummer to apply the finish past Young from 2 yards out.
Raiders now had an uphill battle to get a result, ten minutes after the goal with 6 minutes left Sauntson had a free header from a corner but he could only find the clutches of Corsham’s ‘keeper much to the whole team’s frustration.
Substitute Monaghan also had a great chance to level with three to go, a scuffed shot once again collected safely by Kaupinnen.
With the last kick of the game, from a corner, a huge chance to level presented itself but for a great block by a Corsham defender leaving Raiders to think what could have been as they look to address back to back away defeats when they return to Sixways for the visit of Chipping Sodbury Town next Saturday.
