Worcester Raiders are delighted to announce Tyler Drakeley as the first Coach/Manager of the Worcester Raiders Women’s Football Team ahead of the 2026/27 season.

Tyler brings valuable experience within the women’s game, currently serving as a football coach within the University of Worcester Women’s Football programme while completing a degree in PE and Sports Coaching. He also previously managed Worcester City Lionesses during their inaugural season in the Midwest Counties League, helping guide the club’s preparations for the upcoming campaign in the same division.

“I am nothing short of delighted to be announced as part of the management team of the first ever women’s team for Worcester Raiders!

After meeting Steve and other members of the club behind the scenes, I can feel the passion, desire and excitement everyone at the club has to have a women’s team. That creates a personal buzz and excitement for me, knowing I, the management team, and the squad will have people backing us all the way — something that can sadly feel scarce within women’s football.

So I have to thank them for all they have done so far, and continue to do, to help establish this team going forward.

I want to create a team and culture the club can be proud of, and look to compete and succeed in our inaugural season. I cannot wait to get started!
