Worcester Raiders 1–1 Corsham Town

Worcester Raiders secured a 1–1 draw away at Corsham Town on Saturday in a match that ultimately had little riding on it, with Raiders’ playoff place already confirmed and Corsham’s hopes having ended earlier in the week.

Raiders started brightly and nearly took the lead as early as the third minute, when Jake Donnelly’s header went close.

Despite controlling large parts of the game, Raiders fell behind in the 15th minute. Corsham were awarded a penalty after their attacker broke through on goal and was brought down by a trailing leg. The hosts converted to take a 1–0 lead into half-time.

Raiders responded immediately after the break. In the 47th minute, Nigel Hinkulow capitalised from a corner, turning the ball into the back of the net to level the score.

The second half saw Raiders dominate proceedings, creating several chances to take all three points. Harry Lewis came closest late on, firing narrowly wide in the 85th minute.

Despite their pressure, Raiders had to settle for a draw at full-time.
