Stoddart returns to a club that has made significant progress since his previous spell and is now competing at Step 4 in the Southern League following last season’s promotion.

His return also creates a special family connection within the Raiders squad, with Logan set to play alongside his brother Jordan Stoddart.

Jordan has been an important part of Worcester Raiders’ rise through the non-league pyramid and has made more than 150 appearances for the club.

Raiders manager Jordan Lewis said:

He’s someone we know well and a player who knows Worcester Raiders, the people here and what we expect from our players.

We’ve stepped up another level this season and we know the demands of Southern League football are going to be high, so adding quality and competition to the squad is important.

Logan gives us that and we’re looking forward to getting him involved.

Obviously, there’s also the added story of him playing alongside his brother Jordan. Jordan has been a huge part of what we’ve achieved here, so for the two brothers to now have the opportunity to represent Worcester Raiders together is fantastic for them and their family.”

The signing comes as Raiders continue their first season at Step 4, the highest level the club has competed at in its history.

After securing promotion through the play-offs last season, Worcester Raiders are looking to establish themselves at Southern League level while continuing the progress that has seen the club climb rapidly through the non-league pyramid.

For Logan, the move represents a return to familiar surroundings — but to a Worcester Raiders club now competing on a much bigger stage.
