Worcester Raiders welcome National League North side Kidderminster Harriers to Sixways Stadium tomorrow night at 7:45pm!

Preparations for Worcester Raiders' 22/23 campaign are well underway and what better way to carry on the pre season schedule than Step 2 opposition in the form of Kidderminster Harriers. Harriers are bringing their full first team squad tomorrow evening for their first pre season friendly!

Raiders continued their pre season schedule last Wednesday when Sixways hosted a strong Halesowen Town side. The end to end affair ended 3-5 to the visiting side with the game tied until the 74th minute! Raiders goals came from a Joe Billingham brace and Louis Monaghan.

Russ Penn will be hoping to go one step further with his Kidderminster Harriers side, after an impressive season last campaign. An unthinkable run in the FA Cup, facing huge teams like Reading and West Ham, shot Harriers' name into stardom last campaign. Impressive recent additions such as Shane Byrne and Nat Knight-Percival have set up a title challenging squad in the North. Kiddy will be bringing a full 20 man squad for tomorrow night's fixture.

The two clubs last met last December when a Harriers XI narrowly beat Raiders 2 goals to 1 at Sixways Stadium in the Worcestershire FA Senior Cup. A goal from Kai Lissimore broke Raiders hearts in the 90th minute after slotting the ball past former Kidderminster youth product Ewan Mountjoy. Kidderminster Harriers did only had a handful of first team players that evening, so an exciting challenge presents itself for the lads tomorrow night.

Karl Gormley added to the defensive ranks last week as former Cadbury Athletic defender Syrus Warren-Paul signed on for the upcoming 22/23 campaign, following a silverware winning season at Athletic.

This is Kiddy's pre season opener so we look forward to welcoming Russ Penn, staff, officials and all the Harriers fans who make the trip to Sixways tomorrow night.

Kick off is at 7:45pm.

Prices for the coming 22/23 season at Sixways are as follows:
