Worcester Raiders are back in the league to start the competitive 2022/23 season! Raiders kick off their campaign away from home at Cinder Lane Stadium to take on Fairford Town in the uhlSport Hellenic League Premier Division.

Raiders have had a positive pre season with some mixed results against higher, lower and equivalent level sides. Karl Gormley's side will be hoping to carry on the form from last season and this pre season into the new campaign. Competitive debuts for Raiders will be up for grabs for many of the first team who have joined us this summer.

Raiders wrapped up their pre season campaign with a win. First half goals from Joe Billingham and Jordan Murphy wrapped up the win against Cadbury Athletic in Raiders final work out before the competitive season starts.

Attention now turns to Wednesday evening as Raiders kick off their season against Fairford Town. Town finished in the middle of the pack last season, finishing 11th in the Hellenic Premier Division. Gaffer Jamie Reid has had a very positive pre season after adding some very strong additions to the Cinder Lane side, from varying levels. They've had a strong pre season against sides from levels above as well as those below.
