Worcester-born keeper joins Sixways club.

Talented shot stopper Ewan Mountjoy has joined Worcester Raiders, providing cover for Ryan Young who has kept a clean sheet since arriving from Studley.

Worcester-born Mountjoy, 20, came through Kidderminster Harriers' academy system and appeared in numerous first team squads in National League North for the Aggborough club.

Mountjoy follows fellow Harriers academy products Harry Stratford and Harrison Yates to Sixways as Raiders target a promotion push.

"I'm pleased to welcome Ewan to Sixways and he'll give Ryan real competition between the sticks," said Worcester Raiders Joint Manager Mark Owen.

"It says a lot about the project here at Sixways Stadium that we are able to attract good young local talent to the club, and I'm sure he will do well for us."

Raiders travel to Stonehouse Town on Saturday, looking to make it three league wins on the bounce (kick-off 3pm).
