Inform Raiders look to book their place in the semi-finals of the Floodlit Cup.

Tomorrow, County Rivals Hereford Pegasus return to the DOADC stadium after being beaten by Raiders 2-1 three weeks ago in the Hellenic Premier Division.

Manager Jordan Lewis keeps his message clear ahead of the game : “Winning in the past will not get us in the next round. Peggy are a good side and will cause serious problems to us as they have previously. They have one of the best forwards in the league, we’ll have to be right at it”.

It is set up to be a spicy affair under the lights, with Raiders looking to continue their unbeaten run and Pegasus searching for revenge.

Jord explained how the team aims to keep the unbeaten run going: “The run continues by enjoying the last win and the confidence that brings, but resetting again tomorrow. Good habits and high levels every time we step on that pitch. We all know how well we have done, but we can do a lot better across 90 minutes”.

Saturday, it was another terrific result beating Westfields 2-0, yet again showing character to take our chances and get overline despite going down to 10 men.

Westfields had a strong first half, dominating possession and testing Charlie numerous times, but found themselves drawing 0-0 at halftime, down to Charlie Emery's excellence keeping Raiders in the game.

We began to grow into the game, and on the hour mark, Bailey Fuller picked up his 3rd goal for the Raiders against his former club to put us ahead. A top-class strike on the edge of the box found the bottom left corner.

Shortly after, in the 75th minute, Westfield attacker Jamie Clarke was brought down by Charlie Emery in a one-on-one on the edge of the box, earning Charlie a Red card. Jake Donnelly stepped up from centre back to take the keeper's gloves and instantly made a save from the free kick.

Raiders topped of the day with a quick counterattack - lovely one-two football between Prince Henry and new signing Ryan Belboda saw Prince go through and slot it into the corner of the net moving Raiders up to third.

All focus now turns to Tuesday night, where Raiders will be looking to beat Pegasus for a 3rd time this season.

Raiders will need to shuffle things up this time around as Prince Henry is cup tied, meaning Lincoln Hunt will be in for him. The Walsall Loanee has been excellent so far, scoring 3 goals in 7 appearances, and will be eager to add to his tally tomorrow.

All 10 injured players remain unavailable for tomorrow, but it is looking more promising for two players on a return to action soon “Ben Sanogo is back involved in warmups and not far out – Fred King should be back for the weekend too”.

The visitors come into the game with just one win in five games, whereas Raiders have won all of their last five, giving them plenty of confidence as they look to secure a place in the final four.
