Worcester Raiders FC would like to apologies to our fans, players and all involved with Slimbridge FC.

Yesterday's match postponement was completely out of our hands.

A qualified referee from Worcester FA inspected the pitch and deemed it fit for play.

Following further consultation yesterday with the league Chairman and yesterday's match officials, the pitch was then deemed unplayable 40 minutes before kick off, due to its condition with both sets of players ready to warm up and supporters already in the stadium.

We will meet with WFA and issue an update in due course.
