Harry Stratford inks terms with Worcester Raiders

Tough-tackling midfielder Harry Stratford is the latest player to make the move to Worcester Raiders as the feel-good factor continues at Sixways.

Stratford, 20, who hails from Worcester, came through Kidderminster Harriers' successful academy system and made his first team debut against Atherstone Town in September 2018.

Appearing in pre-season games against Aston Villa and Birmingham City last year, the midfield general is an excellent addition to the Raiders squad as they look to build on their recent impressive run of form.

Dismantling Shortwood United 7-0 on Saturday, Raiders defeated Stratford FC at Sixways last Tuesday to go within a point of top spot.

"We are delighted to welcome Harry to Sixways and he's a great addition to the squad as we attack both the league and cup," said Worcester Joint Manager Mark Owen.

"He's a top lad with a fantastic attitude and we can't wait to see him in action."

Raiders welcome Littleton FC to Sixways this Saturday in the Worcestershire Senior Cup (kick-off 3pm).
