Worcester Raiders have made it a double swoop on matchday, with the signing of former Kidderminster Harriers Under-23 defender Harrison Yates.
The towering centre back, who stands at 6ft 2”, follows striker Connor Deards to Sixways and goes straight into the matchday squad for this evening’s game against FC Stratford (kick-off 7.45pm).
Bringing significant experience to the club despite only being 21, Yates has cut his teeth within the professional environment having risen through the ranks at Kiddy.
“We are delighted to bring in Harrison, who joins us from Stourport Swifts,” said Worcester Raiders Joint Manager Mark Owen.
“He’s quick, mobile and is good on the ball, which will help the way we want to play.”
